Meditation
The Tranquility Way offers meditation classes. The technique used is an amalgamation of different teachings: Zen, Buddhist, Visualizations/Imagery, Mindfulness and more.
Relaxation, increased awareness/mindfulness, mental focus and a sense of calm are often what those who meditate
regularly experience. The best attitude towards meditation is to be very patient as the mind does not always want to focus and this is okay. Expectations can create
uncomfortable pressure and lead one to give up easily. It is important to practice meditation as it is an experience of creating a positive and
peaceful state of mind. Practicing regularly, the person meditating gains an amazing connectedness to self and grounding/centeredness.
